Colours Unbelievable colours - created by different bacteria that live at different temperatures
This one is called "Black Pool" - it is quite a bit prettier than Englands version on the west coast Black Pool

Wildlife

It is just amazing how much and close one can see the wild life in Yellowstone.

Bear upa tree Big brown bear Mrs Bear (that black thing in the branches) had problems getting down from that tree again...
...while Mr Bear was chivalrous enough to pretend that he didn't notice her clumsiness

Canyon area...

... lies in the east of Yelowstone. We did a medium hike along the southern rim:
