Oliver!!!

On Saturday, August 17, Oliver Sinclair Dürer was finally born. He was 4.52kg (10lb) and 54.5cm.
Vicky and Oliver finally come home from the hospital
Vovó has flown home to Sweden. She'll try to be be back next week to help out.
Status update: Oliver is doing fine. The midwife weighed him yesterday and he is already over his birth weight. Vicky's wound has re-opened (the outer skin part) and body fluid is running out. The midwife and the GP think that it is not a big problem but she is back on antibiotics. Yesterday Vicky and Oliver had their first excursion to the outside world.
We had an outing to the 'Piggy Park' and in the afternoon Oliver had friends over to visit.
Status update: Oliver is still doing fine and eating a lot. Some of the days he does not let us sleep as much as we got used to during the first days. Vicky's wound is healing much slower than we had hoped and is still seeping fluid from time to time. Otherwise she is slowly regaining her strength; we have had a few short outings lately to exercise a bit.

Vicky is doing much better now. We have done various longer outings in the last weeks and she is coping well. We are slowly getting used to life with a baby. Oliver is still feeding well and growing a lot.

Oliver is growing fast -- 7.3kg last week!
It's Oliver's 3rd birthday (counting months!) today. He is growing fast -- last week he was 8.1kg (about 18lb) -- and he is a happy boy as ever.
